Bride
Amanda Sue was born on August 27, 1974 in Springfield, Ohio. When she was 3 years old she and her family moved to Monck's Corner, South Carolina. She grew up in South Carolina and stayed there when her parents moved back to Springfield. In 1999, Mandy decided to move back to Springfield to be closer to her family.
Groom
Casey was born on December 3, 1972 in Eaton, Ohio. He was always interested in music and has a special talent for it. He formed a band named Pound Salt with some local friends, who moved to Fairborn in 1998. Pound Salt performed at many local venues in the area.
Together
One night in 2000 Mandy and some friends decided to go to one of Pound Salt's shows. It was love at first sight for both of them. At the end of the show, she wrote Casey a note on her napkin asking him to call her. He has saved that napkin for years.
In 2001 Casey decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Mandy. They continued to fall more and more deeply in love as they got to know each other. One night, during a show at the Nite Owl in the Oregon District in Dayton, Casey got down on one knee and proposed to Mandy in front of the crowd. It was the most romantic event ever seen from the Nite Owl stage. Of course, Mandy said yes.
